Police say three "Middle Eastern-looking men" were seen taking pictures and videos of the various entrances and exits inside the mall, with a specific focus on one entrance.

"There is no information to believe that these men have committed a crime," police said in a news release on Thursday. "Nor do we have information to believe that the public is currently at risk."

Investigators are expected to provide an update on the case Friday morning.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Vancouver Police Department at 604-717-3235.
