VANCOUVER -- A Greyhound bus with nine people on board has flipped on its side in icy road conditions on Highway 97 near Prince George, in central B.C.
B.C. Emergency Health Services spokeswoman Preet Grewal says five ambulances rushed to the scene just before 8 a.m.
She says three people on the bus were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The remaining six have minor injuries.
The bus was northbound on its way from Kamloops in the B.C. Interior to Prince George when it left the highway.
Traffic was cut off for about two hours after the crash, but alternating traffic is now getting through.
