Police seek pickup truck driver in hit and run at Burlington, Ont., mall

BURLINGTON, Ont. - Police say they're on the hunt for a driver involved in a hit and run in the parking lot of a Burlington, Ont.

Halton Regional Police say the incident took place on Wednesday afternoon and started when the driver of a blue Chevrolet pickup truck allegedly cut off another motorist.

The driver of the second car followed the Chevy to the mall.

As the driver was preparing to get out of his vehicle, police allege the Chevy driver quickly backed into the other car, causing the airbags to deploy, then fled the scene.

Police say they're looking for the Chevy's driver, who they describe as a white male between 35 and 44 years of age.

They say he has scruffy brown hair, stained teeth, and was wearing a black baseball cap along with a light and dark brown leather jacket.
