Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Mitch Voss says the woman, who has not yet been identified, was travelling with her husband and their two granddaughters, ages 7 and 8, when the man lost control of the pickup truck.

Voss told the Montana Standard that the vehicle struck a guardrail on Monday afternoon on Interstate 15 near Lima.

He said the woman was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled over and she was later pronounced dead in hospital.

The man and the two girls were also taken to the hospital but there was no immediate word on their conditions.
