Body of fisherman lost in St. Lawrence River found

PRESCOTT, Ont. -- Ontario Provincial Police say they've found the body of a missing fisherman.

Lawrence River in Edwardsburgh Township when their boat overturned.

They say two of the men were able to safely get to nearby Adams Island, but the third was missing.

They say after nearly 24 hours searching, they were able to find the body of the 48-year-old man.

Police say they were assisted by the OPP underwater rescue, helicopter and SAVE teams.

The name of the Augusta Township man has not been released.

An autopsy will be conducted Monday.
