SAINT JOHN, N.B. -- Justice John Walsh resumed giving his final instructions today to the jury in the murder trial of Dennis Oland in Saint John, N.B.
Oland has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the death of his father, well-known New Brunswick businessman Richard Oland.
On Tuesday, Walsh told the jury the accused is presumed innocent unless the Crown proves his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
He is reviewing the testimony of the nearly 50 witnesses who were called during the trial that began in September.
The case is expected to go to the jury today.
