
Crews work to restore power in New Brunswick following Maritime storm

HALIFAX - Power crews in New Brunswick are working to restore electricity to thousands of customers following the first major winter storm of the season.
The bulk of the outages are in the Fredericton and St. Stephen areas.
The mix of snow and rain which hit areas of New Brunswick, P.E.I. and northern Nova Scotia, closed schools in all three province's yesterday.
Marine travel was also affected tying up ferry travel.
Ferry service has returned to normal today on the Bay of Fundy between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and on the Northumberland Strait between Nova Scotia and P.E.I.
